The emergence of new mobility services will have an impact on cities urban development and mobility management.

This workshop is kindly hosted by Transport for London.

The emergence of new mobility services will have an impact on cities urban development and mobility management. Ride-hailing systems, on-demand transport, shared bikes, shared cars, shared trips will all influence our ways of travelling in and around a city. They will have an impact on street management, street infrastructure, public transport planning, land-use.
How will cities manage the rapid deployment of those services? How can those services bring good growth to cities?
What will be the implications in terms on allocation and use of space, urban planning and traffic management?

This workshop will aim at presenting the vision of 3 innovative cities and how they plan and envision their urban developments taking into account the mobility changes. It will also aim at understanding the impact new mobility services can have on cities in terms of infrastructure, space management and land-use, and what measures cities have to take to adapt to those changes.

The workshop is free of charge, participants in the workshop will be expected to contribute to the general debate during the roundtable discussions.
